For today’s wedding I traveled again to San Francisco for a wedding at the lovely Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Being on their preferred vendor list, I shoot there a lot!
This wedding was just so perfect; the stunning church, nestled amongst the modern city-scape, was built in 1913 and is a historical landmark. What really struck me, however,were the bright orange roses Alma chose for her bouquet, and how excited her adorable nieces were to be the flowergirls! Jim served in Iraq and wore his uniform for the ceremony. The couple was absolutley glowing with joy, and it was an honor to shoot their wedding.
I just love the expression on Alma’s face when her new husband brandishes his SWORD to cut their wedding cake!!
I shot a roll of film to cross process as well. i just love the super saturation of colors here…I’ve decided to use the gorgeous shot of Alma looking out the window of her limousine as my new business card!
