I have known Heidi & Tanya since I was 12 years old. Today they brought their families over to have their Holiday Portraits done in the JoyCam! Because everyone in Heidi’s family plays music, they went for a Partridge Family-meets-the-80’s kind of thing. Tanya’s family did a simple all-black look, and I thought it all looked really great!

Love you, girls!!
Hi,
I love your Family portraits.
May I ask in pure curiosity what lens is used for the first Picture?
And do you have any idea of what setting is perfect for focus point in this kind of Pictures? Would have just one or more focus points since there is not just one person in the Picture?
Kristina 🙂
Hi Kristina!
I was probably shooting with a 24-70mm lens. As for f-stop, I would shoot at f8 or f11 with such a large group! I don’t use multiple focus points.
Hi! I LOVE your cool family portrait!! I would love to use it as a sample to show our families, to give them ideas of what they could do for cool poses when we do family sessions- with credit to the photographer of course! Do you mind if I copy it?
Thanks!
Cheryl

great shot Jules, saw it on Justin’s newsletter.
Oh wow. The lighting here is fabulous! (If I may ask, how did you do it?)
I have a special place in my heart for Heidi and Tanya. Love the twin shot and LOVE the musical family shot.
Wow! They look great, and so do their families. Their sons look so much alike!
This was alot of fun. It would be fun to have a picture of the four of you (With Joy).
Love,
Jeanne
