julie & ohki

Almost a year ago exactly, Joy & I shot Julie & Ohki’s engagement portrait in New York, where Julie & Ohki met and fell in love. Because their wedding was taking place at the Langham Huntington Hotel, Julie & Ohki wanted New York to be represented throughout. I think they did a splendid job with that in all of their thoughtful details.

If you follow my blog AT ALL, you know how I love to incorporate the wedding rings into my photography.
I think its wonderful when the bride & groom exchange gifts on the wedding day. Julie got Ohki a gorgeous watch and embroidered sneakers, and he gave her the (Tiffany) key to his heart….
Julie asked me to make sure I brought my tilt-shift lens with me because after seeing some examples of it on my blog, she knew she really liked it. I LOVE how these tilt-shift shots came out! Good suggestion, Julie!
The new Mr. & Mrs!
I couldn’t resist including the wedding rings with these tiny magnetic taxis that were given to all of the guests.
The darling cake toppers traveled all over New York to provide cute photos for each table.
The Georgian Room at the Langham. My new favorite room there.
First dance as husband and wife.
THANK YOU, Julie & Ohki, for letting us share this beautiful day with you!
Wow! Gorgeous photos, Jules. You are so inspiring.
