I met Chris O’Donnell back when I was living in Los Angeles and working in the film industry. He and I have always remained friends, and I have been photographing his family for years. You can see most of the shoots here:

Late last year, I photographed Chris’ family once again. Because my beloved Olive had just passed away, I made sure to take the time to photograph their family dog, Kimmie, who was almost 11 years old. I grabbed Chris and had him sit with her so that he would be sure to have photographs of his pet after she was gone. Last month, Chris was on the Ellen Degeneres Show talking about his daughter, Lily, and his dog, Kimmie. It was fun to see my photographs featured on a huge screen behind him! I grabbed a few screen captures so you could see it here:
Your photo of Chris O’Donnell with their family dog Kimmie was the best photo I have ever seen of anyone with their pet. You captured the close bond between man and his best friend. Thank you for sharing this with the rest fo us. I’m so sorry about your dog Olive. I understand how you feel, I went through that eight years ago when my Jack Russell Molly was sick and old and had to be put down. I hope you find another special best friend to fill your heart with warmth and love again soon.
I was watching that episode of Chris O’Donnell on the Ellen show (he’s been my biggest crush since high school!!!) and saw those beautiful photos and was wondering if those were yours. I love the one of him and his dog!!! Gorgeous! Great work, Jules!
Thank you so much!
