On Tuesday I spent an hour in Walnut Creek photographing the handsome men of Northstar Risk Management & Insurance Services so they could have more current headshots on their website.
I don’t know…there is just something about men in suits that I love!!
Hey,
Just found your site and am really inspired by your work. These headshots are superb and I am curious about how you lit them. They look so balanced and sharp.
cheers,
Kim
Thanks for checking out my blog!! To answer your question, I didnt want to worry about copyright issues, etc, and I knew that my clients were only using the headshots for their website. But to be honest, I wouldnt care if they used them for other things as well. I charged them a hourly rate and gave them the files.
That was it! I know that seems over-simplified, but it worked for me… Best of luck to you!
Hi Jules, I was just contacted by a friend who works for an insurance company and would like me to do their head shots. I’ve never done this before, and am not sure how to write up the contract allowing them use of the images. I’m not sure if you would be willing to help or not, but I thought of you first since I remembered this post. Thanks for any help you can give.
