As many of you know, I use Pictage to showcase my wedding images and produce the Bonsai and Birch books that I offer (and love!) Pictage is a really great company, and I’m happy to be affiliated with them.
Pictage hosted the first Annual Pictage Partner Conference for all of its photographers around the country to attend, and I was chosen to be one of the presenters!! I was so excited to speak in front of my peers, and I think the talk went really well. My topic was called “A Cure for the Common Photographer: Creative Tips to help You Stand Out from the Crowd.” I was able to share a little bit about what I do and how I make my brand stand out. My good friend (and photographer extraordinaire), Chris Becker, shot the cute photo of me you see on the sign below.
Pictage threw a really fun party at the hotel – complete with a funny band called “Freddie Welfare and the Foodstamps.” It was good to reconnect with old friends as well as have the opportunity to meet new ones. So many people came up to me during the two day event to introduce themselves and tell me how much they like my work and enjoyed my presentation! It was so flattering. It made me feel really good about myself and what I’m doing.
There was even an article in the newsletter written about me called “In the Spotlight: Jules Bianchi.” This was included with every Pictage packet given out to the photographers at the conference. Just a little something for the scrapbook!!
I cannot find my pocket digital camera, but my friend (and talented wedding photographer!), Robert Evans, shot this cute photo with my cell phone:
I came to check out your website yesterday and have been loving it. I was going backwards from present times but then decided to just way back, back into time and travel forwards. Can’t believe you’ve got 150pgs here and I’m only on pg 147. Clearly won’t finish today as I need to care for the baby, eat etc but I am really enjoying it! Beautiful work. Thanks for all you do!
THANK YOU for all the love!!!
Jules, you rock! I’m so proud of you and impressed. of course, not surprised that you rocked the house and everyone thought you were such a great speaker. of course you are.
Jules is cool.
Sorry I wasn’t able to come to the Partner Con, but thanks for the online “live chat”. Congratulations on running a successful photography business!
