jaclyn & vincent
august 11, 1007
I am often asked what would happen if I was, for some reason, unable to shoot one of my contracted weddings. This past Saturday provides a very good answer for that question. The father of a good friend of mine, Ann Hamilton, passed away and made it impossible for her to shoot the wedding she was contracted to shoot on August 11th. Because I myself was not booked, I was able to step in and take over the job for her. Ann, thank you so much for trusting me with your lovely clients. I am so fortunate to have such a great network of associates and friends!
I was thrilled that the wedding took place all around San Francisco, and also that Joy was able to shoot it with me. Jaclyn and Vincent were a dream couple with so much love for each other, their family and friends that it just spilled over into the entire day. I have to warn you, there are SO many favorites that this is a going to be a long post… and I didn’t even put many from the reception! (There was a surprise visitor, but you’ll have to watch the slideshow to find out who!)

I LOVED the “something blue” on the bottom of her shoes!
I know this couple! They are so cute! What a FABULOUS job you did and it looks like it was such a gorgeous event!!! Among many shots, I LOVE the wide church shot.
When Ann showed us your webpage we knew immediately that we were in good hands. Vincent and I want to thank you and Joy for sharing our special day with us. You both captured the day so beautifully. We cannot stop watching the slideshow. It is amazing and just leaves us breathless and teary eye every time we watch it. Vincent and I could not wait to get back from our honeymoon so we can see your photos. Now we are back and our friends and family cannot stop talking about your pictures. Your photos are priceless and we THANK YOU so much. We love you guys!
That was so nice of you to step in for Ann JB. She couldn’t have asked for a better back up.
My sincere sympathies for Ann and her family. What a wonderful gift for a friend, and of course, with you at the help she needn’t worry! Beautiful images, I especially like the rooftop kiss.
With so many beautiful photographs how can you decide which ones to show? They are all so wonderful, I love them all!
this wedding was a blast to shoot! Jules, you outdid yourself, as usual. Jaclyn and Vincent, we loved you guys! You and your bridal party had so much fun energy that it made a long day of shooting into a fun time!
Breathtaking
Beautiful slideshow. I like your vintage processing–it is simply delicious.
Jules,
I found both Ann and Gene’s blogs through reading your blog last year. I was thrilled to actually get to meet them both in Orlando in June. I was so sorry to hear of the loss in Ann’s family. What a great friend you are for helping out. Absolutely gorgeous photos as always!!!
Hey Jules, great shots!! I can def. see the emotion in these pics. Such a beautiful couple.

Wow Jules! I’m Angela, one of Jaclyn’s bridesmaids. These pictures are AWESOME! You’ve captured all the moments perfectly. I know Jaclyn and Vincent will love them when they get back from their honeymoon. Thank you for everything.
Oh, Jules, you’ve captured Jaclyn and Vincent so beautifully! I knew you would be the perfect photographer (and Joy, too!) to take care of my lovely clients. Thank you for everything! I hope to repay your kindness someday.
