I am in Chicago for the week to spend some time with my family on my father’s side. I don’t get to see them very often, so its nice to have some time to just hang out.

Sounds like you’re having a blast in Chicago! I am so jealous. I went there a few years ago, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about going back. (You’d think that that would be hard considering I live an hour train ride away from NYC now, but nope.)
If you get the chance and haven’t already done so, you MUST go to Marshall Field’s and taste their ice cream. It’s heavenly!
